About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for the role of Branch Manager, based within our Beers Plumbing & Heating depot in Rathbone Road, Wavertree, Liverpool 13.
With excellent Plumbing and Heating knowledge, you will have experience in a similar role with a background as a Branch Manager, Assistant Manager / Senior Supervisor.
You will be able to demonstrate a knowledge of Plumbing and Heating products, have good communication skills, success in sales growth, account management & customer development as well as being ambitious, driven & having a customer-focused mindset. We would be looking for an individual to have strong leadership and team management skills with a hands-on approach within a busy trade environment.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Day to day management of the Store
- Account management, meeting targets and generating sales growth
- Drive revenue, margin & branch profitability
- Sales to Trade & Retail
- Manage key customer accounts and grow spend
- Stock control
- Ensure high operational, compliance and Health & Safety standards
- Cash Handling
- Managing Stock purchasing, storage & annual stock takes. xiskglj
Required Experience
- Experience in Plumbers Merchants / Builders Merchants
- Previous experience as a Branch Manager, Assistant Manager / Senior Supervisor
- Good Knowledge of Plumbing, Heating, Bathroom Products
- Good knowledge of local customers
- Excellent Customer service skills
- Commercial awareness (sales, margin, costs & performance KPI's)
- Self-motivation and positive attitude towards work with the ability to self-supervise
- Ambitious, driven & customer focused
- Full Driving Licence
Hours of work:
7.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday - 7.30am to 4.30pm Friday.
