We are looking for a Sales Development Representative! This person is responsible for performing investigative research to qualify prospects (new business opportunities), monitor and report on lead activities; and manage the marketing-to-sales pipeline. Effective utilization of Salesforce and supporting technologies are required.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate outbound leads and opportunities through email prospecting and cold calling.
  • Prospecting, contact and lead research using Salesloft, Zoom Info, Sales Navigator, Cognism, 6Sense and Orum.
  • Management of sales data, documents, and correspondence in Salesforce.
  • Develop and manage activities to ensure the sales pipeline remains full of qualified leads & prospects.
  • Work together with Sales Account Executives to identify new opportunities and work with marketing to further develop and nurture those opportunities.
  • Evaluate and improve inside sales and sales administration processes.
  • Ensure accurate and complete information is captured in customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Tenacity and the ability to overcome objections related to sales.
  • Outstanding communication skills and executive presence.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly proficient computer skills including email, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge: B2B technology or SaaS experience preferred.
  • Critical Thinking Skills - The successful candidate will have the ability to gather prospect purchasing intent, qualification, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and inform the Sales AEs.
  • Behavioral Skills - The successful candidate will be self-directed, work well alone or in a team structure, highly results oriented, and willing to learn and expand his/her technical knowledge base through formal education, professional training, and self-study.

  • Proven track record of using Account-based Marketing (ABM) to inform outreach efforts.
  • Ability and desire to drive change through high-energy, can-do attitude, comfortable working in a high-performance, entrepreneurial, open-door environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Attention to detail / detail oriented.

This role is fully remote, but onsite client visits may be required.
