Role Overview

Beeks Group is seeking a skilled and adaptable Client Implementation Engineer to support the technical implementation, deployment, and ongoing evolution of our Analytics product. As a Client Implementation Engineer, you will be designing, delivering, and supporting innovative solutions for clients in the electronic trading sector, built on the Beeks Analytics suite of products and deployed on Linux platforms. The role ranges from requirements gathering and analysis through to conducting client trials and full deployment, configuration and integration of the solution. In addition to client projects, the engineer will collaborate closely with software engineers to shape new product capabilities and adapt the platform for new customer use cases.

The successful candidate will balance problem solving and customer facing skills with the ability to contribute to product development and deployment, through targeted technical and process development. Verbal and written communication skills are critical for success, as the candidate will represent Beeks to external customers. Knowledge of network analysis and financial market protocols are useful, but not essential. We encourage applications from individuals who have demonstrable experience of quickly learning new products and who excel in pragmatic, practical problem solving. As the product evolves, the role offers opportunities to deepen expertise in several directions, including product development, client solution design, and technical support. The role may offer travel opportunities. Beeks is a small company and the successful candidate’s work will make a direct and measurable contribution to the company’s success. We particularly welcome candidates who enjoy learning new technologies and developing practical solutions to real-world system problems. This role is ideal for engineers looking to take the next step in their careers and gain deeper experience working with production systems in the financial markets.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and deploy infrastructure and platform components to support client environments.
  • Work on complex, high-volume, real-time systems and application integration projects for clients across financial services.
  • Deliver reliable, maintainable projects to new and existing clients using the Beeks Analytics products and toolset.
  • Play an active part in the design of novel solutions to meet emerging business requirements.
  • Develop scripts and automation workflows, primarily using Python.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance deployment pipelines and operational tooling.
  • Support transition away from legacy Java components as the platform evolves.
  • Coordinate with the software development team for bug fixes and enhancement requests.
  • Work directly with clients to support technical onboarding, implementation activities, and issue resolution.
  • Provide product training to end users.
  • Translate between client needs and internal development teams during delivery and support cycles.

Data & Observability

  • Work with relational and time-series data systems (e.g. QuestDB, InfluxDB) to explore operational data and support reporting or dashboard use cases.
  • Build and support dashboards and visualisations using Grafana (heavily used in the role and by our customers).
  • Work with internal ML engineering teams to deploy and operate machine learning analytics components, helping ensure models run reliably in client environments and integrate with existing data pipelines and dashboards.

Required Experience

  • 3+ years of strong Software Delivery or Integration Engineering experience.
  • Technical problem solving mind-set: The role suits engineers who are curious about how complex systems behave in real environments, and who enjoy exploring operational data and metrics to help diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Organised independent thinker who will pro-actively seek help to maximise efficiency.
  • Development background in Linux, bash and scripting experience.
  • Familiarity with network technologies, TCP.
  • Quality focused individual, eager to contribute in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with network tap/span/aggregation, wireshark/tcpdump/BPF.
  • Integration experience with kafka/sso/REST.
