A Global Architecture firm with an extensive pedigree in luxury, international hospitality architecture is searching in London for their new design leader. Joining at the Associate Director/Design Director level, you will be the figurehead for the EMEA hospitality sector, working with the management to create best in class and award winning concepts for clients and your growing portfolio.
The studio in question is one with considerable international reach and well known throughout the hospitality market, with a wider portfolio of sectors. London is their hub for the EMEA market and with a client list of the very best in class developers and operators, you will be joining an architecture studio who are on the very top of their game.
The management & leadership structure is in place and they continue to be exceptionally busy, however they feel that a new design leader is key for them to enter this next phase. The role in question will sit at the Associate Director/Design Director level, engaging directly with clients and being a key point of call for concepts and the creative process. Business development isn't necessarily sought for this role, as they favor someone who loves to be the creative pen and storyteller.
You will be tasked to bring the narrative to the architectural concepts, liaising with the masterplanning and interior studio which also make up the EMEA Hospitality team. Other hospitality studios for this firm are dotted globally, and they value great collaboration with their global team. Current projects range from boutique schemes in continental Europe to larger PIF and luxury schemes across the Middle East.
The studio are seeking someone who can bring high EQ to this role and must have:
- a strong portfolio in recent EMEA hospitality architecture, focused on early design stages
- experience working directly with clients and managing a creative architecture team
- a deep passion for the design & creative process, pushing the boundaries of international hospitality architecture and like-minded sectors
- currently working at the Associate Director or Design Director level, with the hunger to join a Tier 1 studio
There is a great next step in the evolution for this role, becoming the key Creative Director for the global hospitality studio, so those Design Directors who have hit a ceiling yet looking to expand are encouraged to apply.
The studio have a very strong "people first" culture and being an international firm, renowned for excellent compensation packages. The base salary will sit around the £80-90,000, yet with bonus taking this considerably into the six figures.
