This is a specialist one‑to‑one role for an experienced, compassionate carer who wants to build a meaningful partnership and support someone to live a full, active life. If you enjoy working closely with one individual, taking the time to really make a difference — this role could be perfect for you.
The role – One‑to‑One Carer & Enabler
You’ll be supporting an individual in their own home in Honiton, helping them to live independently, stay active, and enjoy everyday life. This is a term‑time role, with the opportunity to pick up additional paid hours during school holidays if you wish. Your fixed weekly term‑time hours are:

This is an active, varied role suited to someone who enjoys getting out and about and supporting meaningful routines. Activities may include:
- Walks into town
- Swimming
- Household tasks and daily living support
- Community outings and structured activities
The individual you’ll be supporting has a stoma in situ, so previous experience with stoma care is strongly preferred.
What you’ll be doing:
- Respectful personal care (including stoma support)
- Support with meals, medication and daily living tasks
- Enabling support: activities, companionship and routines
- Accurate electronic care notes using our Beehive Care app
You’ll be trusted to work independently — but you’ll never be unsupported.

- Optional additional hours during school holidays
- Paid training & nationally recognised care qualifications
- 45p per mile mileage allowance
