We are working with an established and expanding law firm in Salford that is building out its Housing Disrepair department and is offering a full retrain for solicitors who want to transition into this specialist area. This is a genuine retrain role – no prior Housing Disrepair experience is required. If you come from Personal Injury or a similar claimant background, your skills will transfer seamlessly.

The Role

As a Housing Disrepair Solicitor (Retrain Role), you will:

  • Receive full, structured retraining from experienced Housing Disrepair specialists
  • Manage a claimant caseload following your training period
  • Run files from instruction through to settlement and, where necessary, litigation
  • Draft pleadings, correspondence, and key procedural documents
  • Work closely with a supportive, office-based team in Salford

Who We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Solicitor (NQ–5 PQE)
  • Background in Personal Injury, civil litigation, or other claimant-based work
  • Strong litigation fundamentals and file-handling experience
