The predicted salary is between 20000 - 25000 £ per year.

The successful candidate will:

  • ideally have experience of working in the primary school phase
  • be passionate about making a real difference to the lives of the children, including those with SEND
  • build positive relationships with the children and their parents/carers
  • be organized and proactive.

Principal responsibilities:

  • Assist pupils and staff with selecting and using books within the library stock
  • Maintain the organization and appearance of the library so that it enhances learning and reading for pleasure across the school.
  • Assist with the physical appearance, promotion and display of books in the library and around the school.
  • Promote the love of reading through story-time, lunchtime reading clubs and competitions.
