The successful candidate will:
- ideally have experience of working in the primary school phase
- be passionate about making a real difference to the lives of the children, including those with SEND
- build positive relationships with the children and their parents/carers
- be organized and proactive.
Principal responsibilities:
- Assist pupils and staff with selecting and using books within the library stock
- Maintain the organization and appearance of the library so that it enhances learning and reading for pleasure across the school.
- Assist with the physical appearance, promotion and display of books in the library and around the school.
- Promote the love of reading through story-time, lunchtime reading clubs and competitions.
