About the Role
We are looking for a motivated, caring, and professional Dental Nurse to join our friendly and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about patient care and wants to work in a modern, supportive dental practice. You will play a key role in delivering outstanding clinical support and ensuring a smooth patient journey from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during a full range of dental procedures
- Preparing and maintaining clinical areas in line with cross-infection protocols
- Sterilisation and decontamination of instruments (HTM 01-05 compliant)
- Supporting clinicians with materials, equipment, and patient care
- Ensuring accurate and complete clinical records are maintained
- Assisting with patient communication and reassurance
- Maintaining stock levels and ordering supplies when required
- Supporting compliance with CQC and GDC standards
Requirements
- Qualified Dental Nurse (NEBDN or equivalent)
- Valid General Dental Council (GDC) registration
- Knowledge of cross-infection control and clinical protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, reliable, and well-organised
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy environment
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience with SOE / R4 / Exact software
- Radiography qualification
- Experience assisting with implants, orthodontics, or cosmetic treatments
