Our busy and welcoming primary school is looking for an Administrative Assistant for Maternity Cover to become the heartbeat of our front office. In this vital role, you will be the first friendly face that children, parents, and visitors see. You will help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes—managing communications, supporting staff, and ensuring our school day flows with ease and efficiency.

Working Hours

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm with an unpaid 30‑minute break for lunch. The role is term time only plus Inset days (39 weeks per year).

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage communications and provide first‑line support to children, parents, and staff.
  • Support the smooth running of the front office and day‑to‑day operations.
  • Maintain organisational systems and help coordinate schedules.
