To support the continuing expansion of the Science department, Beech Hall is seeking to appoint a full-time Teacher of Biology to provide high-quality teaching in this department. The successful candidate will have the knowledge, dynamism, motivation and commitment to work with the existing team to develop pupils' understanding and success in this subject. The successful candidate will be able to teach Biology across the age range from Year 7 to Year 13, and will encompass the teaching of GCSE, Entry Level and A Level courses. In addition, the successful applicant may also be asked to teach across other Science specialisms at Key Stage 3.

You will join a highly professional and growing Science department that is committed to ensuring successful outcomes for every pupil at Beech Hall.

  • Contribute to the wider Science curriculum and potentially teach across other specialisms at KS3.
  • Play a key role in pastoral care as a Form Tutor.
  • Engage with our relational practice and inclusive ethos.

  • Hold a degree in Biology (or a related subject) and Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Have experience teaching Biology at KS3–KS5.
  • Are excellent classroom practitioners with strong subject knowledge.
  • Can inspire, challenge, and support pupils of all abilities.
  • Are committed to safeguarding and inclusive education.
