We are looking to appoint a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our busy and friendly school kitchen team. This is a term-time only position, ideal for someone looking for regular hours that fit around family life.
Hours: 20 hours per week
Working pattern: Monday to Friday (10am - 2.00pm)
The Role
Working as part of our kitchen team, you will help ensure pupils receive nutritious, well‑presented meals in a safe and welcoming environment. Duties will include:
- Assisting with food preparation and service
- Setting up and clearing the dining area
- Washing up and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
- Following food hygiene, health and safety procedures
- Supporting the catering team during busy service periods
The Ideal Candidate
- Is hardworking, punctual, and a good team player
- Has a positive attitude and enjoys working with others
- Experience in a catering or food role is desirable but not essential
