A well-established and growing MEP building services consultancy is seeking a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer to join its team in Wokingham. The practice is known for delivering high-quality design solutions across a wide range of sectors including residential, hospitality, commercial and mixed-use developments, working alongside leading architects, developers and contractors on both new build and refurbishment projects. You will work closely with experienced engineers and contribute to the design and coordination of electrical systems across a variety of projects.
Responsibilities:- Assisting in the design of electrical building services systems
- Supporting the production of drawings, calculations and technical documentation
- Working within multidisciplinary design teams on a range of projects
- Attending site visits and project meetings where required
- Developing knowledge of industry standards, regulations and best practice
- Using design software such as AutoCAD and Revit (training provided where needed)
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
- Strong interest in building services design
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Basic understanding of design software (AutoCAD/Revit desirable but not essential)
- Structured training and mentorship from experienced engineers
- Exposure to a wide range of high-quality UK and international projects
- Clear pathway towards professional accreditation (e.g. CIBSE/IET)
