Client: Full-service engineering, architecture, construction, environmental, and consulting firm. Founded in 1898, headquartered in the USA with a global presence of 75 offices worldwide and employing approximately 10,000 staff. Specialising in providing comprehensive solutions for a variety of industries, including energy, aerospace, water, transportation, environmental, and industrial sectors. The firm is committed to delivering high-quality, innovative, and sustainable solutions and offers a wide range of services, from conceptual design and detailed engineering to construction management and ongoing operations support.
Role: This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days in the office. The contract is a 6-month duration initially and it has the potential to become a permanent position. You should be able to fulfil duties and responsibilities of a discipline lead for small to medium sized projects. In support of large and hyperscale projects, a senior engineer should take responsibility for critical systems and/or substantial aspects of the design including the ownership, resourcing, and execution of project design changes.
- Planning and monitoring of project resourcing.
- Management of deliverables and fulfilment of scope, ensuring quality standards are hit.
- Enforce standards and practices.
- Lead a discipline team of Staff and Assistant Level Mechanical, Electrical, and PH Engineers.
- SPOC for project Client facing with the ability to discuss and agree Client requirements.
- Lead discipline presentations.
- Participate in Work Winning activities including assisting with the development of bid stage technical solutions.
- Supporting future business opportunities through client engagement and elevation of the company brand.
- Datacenter or telecommunication facility experience and knowledge of critical facility design.
- Experience at the concept design level to assist with the development of data center masterplans.
- Ability to write specifications for equipment, devices, and materials.
- Ensuring team welfare and wellbeing in the execution of the project.
- Monitoring of engineer development and progression of deliverables throughout the program.
