An independent specialist MEP engineering consultancy established in 2005. Join a dynamic team of c30 experienced engineers and designers providing innovative and sustainable solutions for a range of projects across various sectors, in the UK and Internationally. The firm is independently owned by the Directors and employees, all based together in one office, supporting each other without corporate interference or distractions irrelevant to project delivery. They can provide technical support when needed but otherwise trust employees to independently manage their workload. Approximately two thirds of their turnover is derived from overseas projects, having undertaken projects in Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Cyprus, Russia, Vietnam, Germany, UAE, Angola and the Bahamas. Their key sectors are commercial offices, mixed use developments, luxury hotels, concert halls, theatres and airports.
In your role as the Mechanical Engineer, you will be expected to own, manage, and deliver electrical projects. You will be responsible for the full design from inception to commissioning and final delivery.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and coordination of mechanical building services systems.
 - Produce detailed design drawings and specifications.
 - Assist in the selection of appropriate materials and equipment.
 - Attend site visits and liaise with contractors and clients.
 - Work collaboratively with other members of the engineering team.
 
Requirements
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.
 - Knowledge of mechanical building services design principles.
 - Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software.
 - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
 - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
 - Willingness to learn and develop skills.
