We are looking for one all-arounder to join our small team on a part-time (up to 30 hours per week) or full-time basis (pro rata 45 hours a week). A General Assistant who will help with waitressing, kitchen work and housekeeping. Experience in a hospitality environment, preferably working in a busy kitchen, is essential. Candidates with experience as a breakfast chef will be given special consideration.

The role - General Assistant
We expect you to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation, ultimately helping us deliver an exceptional holiday experience to our guests. Experience in food preparation and working in a hospitality environment is essential.
- Assisting with food preparation in the kitchen, keeping buffets fully stocked with fresh dishes and clearing away dirty plates and cutlery.
- Delivering food from the kitchen to guests at the table or to a self-service area.
- Assisting Chefs by washing vegetables, assembling sandwiches, sourcing ingredients from the stock room or plating up dishes.
- Keeping any bar and drink service areas fully stocked with beverages.
- Taking drinks orders and serving drinks to guests at their table or throughout the venue.
- Wiping down tables and chairs, removing rubbish and clearing the dining room.
- Cleaning and arranging guest rooms.
- Stocking and maintaining an inventory of housekeeping supplies.
- Dusting furniture or fixtures and polishing them.
- Scrubbing and sanitizing showers, bathtubs, toilets, countertops and sinks.
- Vacuuming and cleaning carpets, doormats and rugs.
- Reporting breakages, damages and safety issues for repairs.
