We are recruiting on behalf of a client for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a Cat B commercial office fit-out in central Bristol. This 10-week project is due to start in June and focuses on the refurbishment of office space, including partition walls, acoustic ceilings, power, data and air-conditioning works. The right person will come from a commercial fit-out or shop-fitting background and will be confident running day-to-day site operations, managing subcontractors, maintaining standards on site and keeping works moving to programme. Pay rate is £280 per shift.
Responsibilities
- Running the site on a day-to-day basis
- Managing subcontractors and coordinating trades on site
- Overseeing health and safety
- Driving programme and keeping the job on track
- Liaising with the client and project team
- Monitoring quality and ensuring works are delivered to a good standard
Candidate requirements
- Previous experience as a Site Manager on Cat A or Cat B office fit-out projects
- Shop-fitting or commercial interior fit-out background preferred
- SMSTS
- First Aid
- Able to manage subcontractors and keep works moving in a live commercial environment
- Good communication and site coordination skills
