We are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a civil engineering project installing EV charging infrastructure at a large distribution centre. This role is working on behalf of a national contractor delivering EV charging installations across the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site operations, ensuring work is carried out safely, on programme and to a high standard. This is a hands-on site management role overseeing civil works associated with EV charger installation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing day to day site operations
  • Coordinating subcontractors and site operatives
  • Ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with programme
  • Maintaining site health and safety standards
  • Liaising with project management and reporting on progress
  • Ensuring quality control across all stages of the project

Requirements

  • SMSTS
  • First Aid at Work
  • CSCS Black Card preferred
  • Strong experience in civil engineering projects
  • Experience on EV charging, LV or HV electrical infrastructure would be advantageous
  • Ability to manage site teams and coordinate subcontractors effectively
