Rate: £280 per day

Working pattern: Minimum four days per week

We are looking for an experienced freelance Working Site Supervisor to support a Cat B fit-out project in Wilmslow. The project involves converting an existing office space into a new dental practice. There are no structural works involved, but the successful Supervisor will need relevant shopfitting, interiors or commercial fit-out experience. This is a relatively compact project, so the position would suit somebody who is confident managing the site, maintaining strong health and safety standards and taking a practical, hands-on approach when required.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the daily running of the site
  • Coordinating subcontractors and trades
  • Maintaining health and safety standards
  • Completing site inductions, toolbox talks and daily briefings
  • Reviewing RAMS and ensuring works are completed safely
  • Monitoring progress against the programme
  • Managing deliveries and site logistics
  • Maintaining daily site records and paperwork
  • Liaising with the client and project team
  • Assisting practically on site when reasonably required
  • Ensuring the site remains organised, safe and presentable

Requirements

  • Valid SSSTS
  • Valid First Aid certificate
  • Relevant shopfitting, interiors or Cat B fit-out experience
  • Previous experience supervising subcontractors and trades
  • Strong health and safety awareness
  • Confident completing site paperwork and daily records
  • Practical, proactive and willing to muck in where required
  • Available to start immediately
  • Able to commit to a minimum of four days per week for the duration of the project

Pay rate: £280 per day
