Rate: £250 to £270 per Shift

We are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor or Site Manager to oversee a large commercial HVAC and air conditioning installation project in Sheffield. This is a long term opportunity on a major project involving DX and VRF systems. The successful candidate will act as the main point of contact for the package on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme requirements. This is a non-working supervisory role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervising HVAC and AC installation engineers on site
  • Attending DABS meetings and site meetings
  • Reviewing and implementing RAMS
  • Managing permits and health and safety compliance
  • Coordinating day to day site activities
  • Monitoring installation quality and workmanship
  • Liaising with project teams, subcontractors and stakeholders
  • Producing site reports and progress updates
Requirements
  • SMSTS
  • First Aid at Work
  • CSCS Card
  • Previous experience supervising HVAC, AC, Refrigeration, DX or VRF installations
  • Ability to manage engineers and subcontractors effectively
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
Desirable
  • Previous experience on large commercial projects
  • Knowledge of DX systems
  • Knowledge of VRF installations
  • Mechanical or HVAC trade background
