We are recruiting on behalf of a client who is looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a 600kW solar PV installation on a high-profile site at Royal Ascot. This is a technically complex project, working alongside an existing EPC contractor, with the requirement focused on strong site presence, H&S oversight, and CDM compliance through to commissioning.
The Role
- Acting as site-based presence on behalf of the client
- Overseeing works delivered by the EPC contractor
- Ensuring compliance with RAMS, H&S procedures, and CDM duties
- Monitoring progress through install and commissioning stages
- Liaising with contractors on site without disrupting delivery
- Providing basic reporting and site oversight where required
Requirements
- SMSTS
- First Aid
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on construction or M&E projects
- Previous solar PV or renewable energy experience highly desirable
- Experience working through to commissioning stage preferred
- Strong understanding of site safety and CDM responsibilities
