We are recruiting for a Site Manager to support a short term EV infrastructure project at a live retail site in Whetstone, North London. The project involves off site civils works, including a short road crossing / carriageway section, trenching, service checks, utility plans, permits, and support through energisation and commissioning.

This would suit a Site Manager with experience across EV infrastructure, civils, utilities, ICP works, substations, or similar live environment projects.

Role details
  • Managing daily site activity
  • Overseeing civils and trenching works
  • Ensuring works are carried out safely and correctly
  • Reviewing permits, utility plans and excavation areas
  • Managing subcontractors and site paperwork
  • Maintaining health and safety standards on a live retail site
  • Liaising with the Project Manager and wider delivery team
  • Supporting the project through energisation and commissioning
Requirements
  • SMSTS
  • First Aid
  • CSCS, ideally Black or management level
  • Strong civils, utilities, substation, ICP, EV, or infrastructure background
  • Experience managing excavation / trenching works
  • Good understanding of permits, utility drawings and safe digging practices
  • Able to start Monday 18th May
  • Available for a Teams interview Tuesday at 14:00

This is an EV infrastructure project for a well established national contractor. The initial requirement is around 3 weeks, but there may be further opportunities on similar projects for the right person.
