Permanent Role
Projects UK-Wide – First Site: Oxford (10-week programme). Must be willing to work nationwide.
£50,000 – £60,000 + Benefits
I’m working on a permanent opportunity for a Site Manager / Site-Based Project Manager with a business that delivers a wide range of fast-track fit-outs across the UK — from high-end F&B spaces and bars to full turnkey refurbishments in cafes, yoga studios, and corporate environments.
They’ve got their own in-house design and QS teams and deliver full concept-to-completion projects. The typical programme is 4–10 weeks with contract values ranging from £50k up to £2m. The first project you’d be placed on is a £500k café and conference centre build in Oxford, starting in 6–8 weeks and running for 10 weeks.
What they’re looking for:
- A Site Manager or Project Manager with experience overseeing fast-paced fit-out projects
- Ideally someone who's delivered high-quality F&B environments (bars, cafes, commercial kitchens)
- A background in joinery or the ability to jump on the tools occasionally would be a bonus — but not essential
- SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid
- Comfortable working away from home when required – projects can be anywhere in the UK
- Happy to work on PAYE (permanent) – though self-employed or freelance may be considered on a case-by-case basis
The setup:
You’ll report into a Senior Contracts Manager who handles pre-construction and project resourcing. Your focus will be delivery on-site, ensuring subcontractors perform, quality is high, and the programme stays on track. You won't be expected to do the work yourself — but if you have that trade background, it’s a bonus.
Why this could be for you:
- You’re tired of chasing freelance gigs and want long-term stability
- You like working across varied, design-led spaces — not just the same old rollouts
- You enjoy managing projects with ownership and autonomy, not micro-management
If you’re open to something permanent but still want variety, responsibility, and the chance to be involved in some genuinely cool projects — drop me a message, and I’ll fill you in on the next steps.
