We are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a civil engineering project installing EV charging infrastructure at a large distribution centre. This role is working on behalf of a national contractor delivering EV charging installations across the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site operations, ensuring work is carried out safely, on programme and to a high standard. This is a hands-on site management role overseeing civil works associated with EV charger installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing day to day site operations
- Coordinating subcontractors and site operatives
- Ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with programme
- Maintaining site health and safety standards
- Liaising with project management and reporting on progress
- Ensuring quality control across all stages of the project
Requirements
- SMSTS
- First Aid at Work
- CSCS Black Card preferred
- Strong experience in civil engineering projects
- Experience on EV charging, LV or HV electrical infrastructure would be advantageous
- Ability to manage site teams and coordinate subcontractors effectively
