Site Managers is recruiting on behalf of a specialist construction contractor for an experienced Working Site Manager to oversee a commercial kitchen refurbishment within a school environment in Farnborough.

This is a hands-on site management role where you'll be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of subcontractors, maintaining high health and safety standards and acting as the client's representative on site.

The project is a fast-paced internal refurbishment involving multiple trades including building works, flooring, ventilation, electrical, plumbing and specialist kitchen installation.

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day site management
  • Managing subcontractors on site
  • Conducting site inductions
  • Maintaining health & safety standards
  • Daily site inspections
  • Liaising with the Project Manager
  • Monitoring programme progress
  • Site diary and daily reporting
  • Coordinating deliveries and logistics
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised site
  • Representing the Principal Contractor professionally throughout the project

Essential Requirements

  • SMSTS
  • First Aid at Work
  • Valid CSCS Card
  • Previous refurbishment or fit out experience
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple subcontractors

Desirable

  • Enhanced DBS Certificate
  • Previous experience working within schools, healthcare or live environments
  • Commercial kitchen, hospitality, restaurant or fit out experience
