We’re looking for an experienced Roofing Contracts Manager to take control of live projects across re-roofing, repairs, and planned maintenance works. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who knows roofing inside out and is comfortable running multiple jobs from start to finish. You’ll be the link between clients, site teams, and suppliers — keeping jobs on track, on budget, and to a high standard (no bodge jobs on your watch).
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple roofing contracts simultaneously
- Oversee re-roofing, reactive repairs, and maintenance works
- Plan and programme works, labour, and materials
- Supervise site teams and subcontractors
- Carry out site visits, inspections, and progress checks
- Ensure all works comply with H&S regulations
- Manage budgets, variations, and cost control
- Liaise with clients, surveyors, and suppliers
- Resolve site issues quickly and professionally
- Sign off completed works and ensure quality standards are met
What We’re Looking For (The Non-Negotiables)
- Proven experience in roofing contracts management
- Strong background in re-roofing, repairs, and maintenance (essential)
- Good technical roofing knowledge (flat and pitched)
- Confident managing operatives and subcontractors
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Able to communicate clearly with clients and site teams
- Full UK driving licence
