Join our Residential Support team at Bedspace, providing Solo, Group Living, Hybrid, and Trainer placements across Greater Manchester. Every day brings unique challenges, with a person‑centred approach fostering continuous learning and growth. You'll guide young people through essential life skills, including finance, tenancy support, personal development, health, relationships, and culture. Your role will involve helping them develop independence and guiding them through day‑to‑day challenges. This role supports young people across the Manchester area, so a driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential. You will work approximately 10 shifts per month on a 2‑on, 4‑off pattern, which could be 10 am to 10 am with a sleep. The quoted salary of £32,745.60 includes the sleep rate.
About You
You are empathetic, patient, and resilient, with a passion for supporting young people. You have experience working with individuals who have complex emotional and social needs, including those affected by trauma, mental health issues, and challenging behaviours. Your strong communication skills make you comfortable working independently and within a team. Flexibility and a sense of humour are key, as you’ll need to adapt to changing situations while maintaining a positive and proactive approach.
