This role is vital to our success and the enjoyment of our guests’ experiences. This is a full-time night owl position who will be available to work from 12am - 7am.

Essential Requirements:

  • Be eligible or have all necessary documentation to be legally employed in the country where you are based.
  • All Documentation required by any Local / Regional / National certifying or Governing bodies in which to operate legally within your unit’s country.
  • Have an up to date / active bank account in your own name.
  • Be able to converse fluently in English.
  • If living accommodation is not provided, have a fixed place of residence and live within a reasonable travelling distance of the hotel / bar.

The Role – Main responsibilities:

  • Booking guests into the Hostel, advising on our offering and services.
  • Assisting guests with enquiries and questions – everything from do you have a hairdryer? to when is breakfast serviced?
  • Managing the Beds and Bars booking system, ensuring all office administration is accurate.
  • Ensuring an effective hand over to the day team.
  • Working with the management team on security and safety.
  • Advising guests on London attractions.

Previous experience in a customer-based role preferred but not essential.

  • Teamwork: Always be a good team player. Build and maintain good relationships with all team members. Work together with the team to ensure that the hostel / hotel is the best it can be. Be willing to take on jobs to balance the team workload. Be able to communicate well with people of all levels.
