Are you a commercially minded marketer who thrives on delivering measurable results? Do you want to shape the marketing strategy for three distinctive luxury hospitality brands in one of the UK’s most inspiring coastal locations? Can you combine strategic thinking with a hands-on, guest-focused approach in a fast-paced hospitality environment?

We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Marketing Manager to lead the day-to-day marketing function across Bedruthan, Scarlet Hotel, and Create Cornwall. This is a strategic, hands-on role suited to an ambitious hospitality, travel or lifestyle marketer who can drive revenue growth, strengthen brand positioning, and deliver meaningful guest engagement across multiple channels.

Reporting into senior leadership, you will lead a small in-house marketing team and collaborate closely with commercial and operational teams to ensure marketing activity aligns with business goals and the guest experience. We are seeking someone who combines creativity with commercial awareness — someone equally comfortable developing long-term strategy, analysing campaign performance, and rolling up their sleeves to deliver impactful marketing activity. Alongside your marketing responsibilities, you will maintain a close connection to the guest experience through occasional duty management support and cross-functional operational collaboration.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop and deliver integrated marketing strategies across all three brands aligned with commercial objectives
  • Identify growth opportunities through data analysis, market trends, customer insight and segmentation
  • Manage marketing budgets effectively to maximise ROI and campaign performance
  • Lead the planning and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns including digital, CRM, content, partnerships, PR and print
  • Oversee seasonal campaigns, promotions and new product launches
  • Ensure consistent and compelling brand positioning and storytelling across all touchpoints
  • Analyse occupancy, revenue, conversion and campaign performance data to inform decision-making and optimise activity
  • Collaborate closely with revenue, operations and senior leadership teams to support business planning and revenue targets
  • Lead, mentor and develop a small marketing team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture
  • Maintain a strong guest-centric approach, ensuring marketing reflects the on-site experience
  • Actively engage with guests to understand behaviours, needs and feedback
  • Support hotel operations through occasional duty management shifts and operational collaboration during busy periods

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years’ marketing experience within hospitality, travel, tourism or lifestyle brands
  • Proven track record of delivering commercially successful marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and demonstrating measurable ROI
  • Experience leading and developing a team
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, customer segmentation and campaign analytics
  • Experience working within premium, luxury or experience-led brands is desirable
  • Based in Cornwall or willing to relocate

Key Skills:

  • Commercially focused with strong business acumen
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of customer profiling and audience targeting
  • Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Creative thinker with a strong eye for brand and storytelling
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to balance strategic planning and execution
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment
  • Guest-focused with a genuine passion for exceptional experiences
  • Strong leadership presence with a collaborative management style

As a family-owned, independent Cornish business, we value every member of our talented team. We offer a range of benefits and perks to reflect our commitment to making our hotels such a desirable place to work. These include:

  • Competitive salary package, negotiable based on experience and suitability for the role

  • A permanent contract with 28 days’ holiday per year (29 after one year)
  • Our long service recognition scheme, including a complimentary stay at Bedruthan after your first year
  • 40% off food and drinks, plus a range of team discounts across the hotel
  • Local partnership discounts
  • Health Shield Healthcare Plan
  • Temporary on-site team accommodation available
