Role Overview

As a New Business Sales Executive, you will generate new business partnerships with schools and multi-academy trustsacross the UK.You will create opportunities, build relationships with educators and senior leaders, and convert prospective schools into long-term Bedrock customers.

You willbe responsible forfinding new schools and trusts andconvertingmarketing generated leadsinto commercial success, guiding them through every stage of the buyingjourneyand securing new partnerships for Bedrock. We are looking for someone who is commercially driven and genuinely motivated by helping schools improve outcomes for young people.

Core Responsibilities

New Business Development

  • Generate sales opportunities through outbound prospecting, closing marketing leads, networking,referralsand events.
  • Build relationships with school leaders, literacy and curriculum leads, and trust executives.
  • Develop andmaintaina strong pipeline across schools and multi-academy trusts.
  • Understand each prospective customer’s priorities and present Bedrock’s educational and commercial value clearly.
  • Deliver engaging product demonstrations andmanagemulti-stakeholder salesconversations.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and secure new partnerships.
  • Servicing online and in-person sales meetings

Sales Process and Commercial Discipline

  • Maintainaccuraterecords and manage opportunities inour CRM.
  • Use data and market insight to manage your territory and priorities.
  • Forecast accurately and communicate risks and opportunities clearly.
  • Track activity, pipeline progress, winratesand performance against target.
  • Take ownership of your individual targets and results.

Collaboration and Improvement

  • Work closely with Marketing, Product, Account Management, Finance and Operations.
  • Share market insight and customer feedback to support strategy and product development.
  • Contribute to a culture of accountability,collaborationand continuous improvement.
  • Experience in new business sales within EdTech or a similar commercial environment.
  • A strong record of achieving revenue or sales targets.
  • Experience generatingpipelineand managing a complete sales cycle.
  • Excellent communication,presentationand negotiation skills.
  • Strongorganisationand CRM discipline.
  • A resilient,proactiveand results-focused approach.
  • A genuine passion for education and improving outcomes for young people.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience selling to UK and/or US schools or multi-academy trusts/ schools districts.
  • Knowledge of the UK and/or US education landscape.
  • Experience managing complex opportunities involving several stakeholders.
  • Experience selling subscription orrecurring-revenuesolutions.
  • Competitive salary + strong OTE earning potential

  1. Assessments and recorded video interview: Complete psychometric aptitude tests and a recorded video interview.
  2. Online interview: Interview with management to discuss your experience, suitability for the role and cultural alignment with Bedrock Learning.
  3. In-person technical & values interview: A technical task with management to demonstrate your skills for the role and alignment with our culture and values.
