As a design teacher at Bedminster Down School, you will play a key role in contributing to the delivery of Futura's mission statement of "Building the brightest future for all, enabling every individual to flourish". We are looking for an individual who is passionate about living our values and making a positive impact on all the young people in our Trust. Set on the outskirts of South Bristol, approximately 40% of students at BDS are eligible for the Pupil Premium. In the wider community, the percentage of adults with experience of tertiary education is one of the very lowest in the country. Our goal, working with our fantastically supportive parents, schools across the city, and our wider Trust, is to change that. Responsibilities

  • The planning, delivery and assessment for groups of students; to ensure they achieve their individual potential.
  • Sharing in the corporate responsibility for the education, wellbeing and discipline of all students.
  • Supporting the development of all students in a tutor group.
