As a Practice Education Facilitator you will be responsible for supporting and facilitating clinical skills training. You will work as part of the Clinical Education Team, predominantly relating to Pre-Registration Learners, but also supporting other work streams as needed. The successful candidate must demonstrate proactive problem-solving capabilities and a high level of concentration, working accurately to deadlines and being flexible as the role develops.
The role requires working weekends and evenings with some off-site working. You will support all pre and post-registration learners with clinical skills training within the organisation by creating and facilitating new and ongoing programmes of learning through various delivery platforms. Collaboration with the Practice Education team, Clinical Education Lead, and the Associate Director of Nursing is essential to meet local, regional, and national objectives.
Upholding the principles of the NMC Code or HCPC Standards is crucial. You will contribute to the development and delivery of Trust strategies and initiatives by delivering and evaluating appropriate training packages and competency assessments. As a member of the Trust education team, you will deliver classroom training on each of the programmes associated with pre-professional learning.
Maintaining awareness of other workflows/projects and cross-covering colleagues as required is important. Travel between hospital sites may be required.
