About the Role
The Supervisor oversees the Kadina manufacturing site, supervising and training a team of 23 employees. They are responsible for coordinating operations, ensuring production timelines and quality standards are met, maintaining employee safety, and managing general housekeeping within the manufacturing area.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Maintain a high level of safety in all areas
- Monitor and manage quality control
- Ensure production timelines and KPI’s are met
- Complete daily checks on machinery and other general housekeeping
- Assist in other areas of the business where required
About You
This is a multi-faceted role requiring the unique combination of physical, administrative and leadership skills. You will enjoy taking on a supportive, leadership role, but also be fond of working with your team and getting your hands dirty. Above all, you will appreciate Bedford’s values and purpose and genuinely want to contribute to the organisation’s goal to support people with disability to live the life they choose.

- Solid computer skills including the ability to use Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Understanding, patience, and empathy
- General production or manufacturing skills
- An ability to work with people with disability
- A genuine desire to help others and see people succeed
For this role, the following documents must be provided prior to a formal offer of employment with Bedford.
- A National Police Clearance (no older than six months old)
- Driver’s licence
- NDIS worker screening clearance, or other NDIS approved clearance to work in the disability sector
- Evidence of right to work in Australia
- 100 points of identification
