Essential Ingredients
As our new business is growing, we are casting the net looking to catch a new member of our site leadership. This hands-on supervisory position will manage high quality outcomes, ensuring quality controls are met and empowering the workforce to engage and deliver above expectation through mentoring, guiding and support. Located in Brooklyn Park and reporting to the Food Production, Development and Innovation Manager.
Please note this role is Monday to Friday, 7:00-15:10, with some occasional evening shifts when required.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the production of high-class premade meals, ranging from a la carte service support to bulk cater pack meals.
- Daily management of food production and storage area
- Managing Food Safety administration
- Guide, influence, and mentor positive outcomes of team members
- Champion our safety & culture message
- Active participation in the Cultivate culture program and an appetite for adapting to change.
About You
You will have experience in supervising a large-scale food production environment, as well as a passion for cooking, teaching and self-improvement. You want to grow your career in the food production industry and achieve goals by leading and mentoring your team. You will also have a good eye for detail and a strong focus on food safety and WHS in a production area along with:
- Certificate III commercial cooking
- The ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Availability to work morning shifts which is 7:00-15:10
- Intermediate computer skills with all Microsoft office application
- The ability to resolve product non-conformance reports
For this role, the following documents must be provided prior to a formal offer of employment with Cultivate Food & Beverage.
- A National Police Clearance (no older than six months old)
- Evidence of right to work in Australia
- 100 points of identification
