The Position
As a Duty Manager, you have the opportunity to develop your skills within a unique independent hotel, 2-rosette restaurant and spa environment. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily hotel operation during your shift, acting as the main point of contact for guests and staff - ensuring the smooth functioning of the hotel with a focus on guest satisfaction. Some key responsibilities include maintaining standards of service across the hotel, supporting staff, ensuring budget adherence and responding to guest queries or problems. This is a part-time position (3 shifts/24 hours per week). Weekend availability is essential, and you will be required to work Early (from 7am) and Late shifts (until 11:30pm).
About You
You will be an excellent communicator and team player with a passion for outstanding guest service and hospitality. You will be calm under pressure, adaptable, flexible and highly organised. You will be confident to deal with the variety of tasks that arise. You will have:
- Previous experience within a hospitality / hotel environment.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality and guest service.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to take responsibility.
- Excellent personal presentation.
- A desire to work flexibly and provide support to a wide variety of hotel departments, including Front Office, Restaurant and Bar.
