Location: Tresham College – Kettering Campus
Salary/Benefits: Salary is between £33,048 and £38,169 per annum DOE and Qualifications, 45 days annual leave plus Bank holidays, Teacher’s Pension, Retail and Leisure Discounts, excellent professional and personal development opportunities, accessing college courses. Note – Salary and annual leave entitlement is for that of a Qualified Lecturer.
Hours/Weeks: 37 hours per week – 52 weeks per year
Contract Type: Permanent – Full Time

About the role:
- Teaching, Learning & Student Achievement: Deliver high‑quality teaching, assessment and verification across a range of programmes and levels, supporting learners to achieve their full potential.
- Curriculum Planning & Innovative Delivery: Develop engaging schemes of work and learning materials, contributing proactively to curriculum development and innovative teaching approaches.
- Assessment, Progress & Quality Assurance: Monitor learner progress, provide timely feedback and ensure compliance with awarding body standards and internal quality processes.
- Learner Support, Behaviour & Enrichment: Support students through guidance, behaviour management and enrichment activities, including employer engagement and work experience opportunities.
- Professional Practice, Collaboration & Compliance: Maintain accurate records, contribute to team and college activities, and uphold safeguarding, EDI, health & safety and CPD requirements.
About you:
- Industry Expertise & Uniformed Services Knowledge: Relevant industry experience with up‑to‑date knowledge of developments within the Uniformed Services sector, supporting vocationally relevant teaching and learning.
- Teaching, Learning & Student Engagement: Ability to deliver high‑quality learning experiences, creating engaging and inclusive environments that support student achievement and progression.
- Communication, Organisation & IT Skills: Strong communication and organisational skills, with confidence using Microsoft Office and managing workload effectively to meet deadlines.
- Collaboration, Professionalism & Values: Effective team player who builds positive relationships, promotes the College’s reputation and works in line with organisational values.
- Safeguarding, Flexibility & Continuous Development: Committed to safeguarding, equality and ongoing CPD, with a flexible approach to working across sites and adapting to changing demands.
