Salary/Benefits: Salary is between £25,585 and £30,915 per annum DOE and Qualifications, 27 days annual leave plus Bank holidays, People’s Pension, Retail and Leisure Discounts, excellent professional and personal development opportunities, accessing college courses.
Hours/Weeks: 25 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

About the role: We are currently seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to join our Talent Acquisition & Onboarding department at The Bedford College Group. As a Recruitment Coordinator, you play an important role in the success of our students through:
- Providing efficient end-to-end recruitment support, delivering a positive experience for hiring managers and candidates while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures and KPIs.
- Manage recruitment administration, including job advertising, candidate communications, vacancy tracking, offers, contracts and maintaining accurate records within HR systems.
- Coordinate pre-employment screening and onboarding processes, including right to work checks, DBS checks, references, qualification verification and safeguarding compliance.
- Support visa sponsorship applications, internal recruitment processes and the maintenance of the Single Central Record (SCR), ensuring organisational compliance and risk management.
- Work collaboratively with the wider People Team to enhance recruitment processes, employer branding and the overall candidate and employee experience.
About you: We're seeking an organised and customer-focused recruitment professional with experience supporting end-to-end recruitment, pre-employment checks, and onboarding processes. You’ll have:
- Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience using HR, recruitment, or onboarding systems.
- Good knowledge of safeguarding, DBS, Right to Work, and data protection requirements.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and administrative skills with strong attention to detail.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and other digital systems.
- The ability to work independently, prioritise workloads, and meet deadlines.
- A proactive, professional approach with the ability to handle confidential information sensitively.
