Salary/Benefits: Unqualified: £26,651 and £31,982 per annum, Qualified: £33,048-38,169 per annum DOE and Qualifications, Teacher’s Pension, Retail and Leisure Discounts, excellent professional and personal development opportunities, accessing college courses.
Hours/Weeks: 37 hours per week – 52 weeks per year

About the role:
- Teaching & Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging Digital, Media, Games, and Computing courses across levels 2–5, adapting to individual learner needs and ensuring high-quality teaching.
- Assessment & Student Progress: Assess, verify, and monitor student work in line with awarding body standards, supporting learners through tutorials to achieve their full potential.
- Curriculum Development & Innovation: Develop up-to-date schemes of work and learning materials, contribute to new course development, and embed innovative teaching practices and industry relevance.
- Student Experience & Engagement: Promote positive behaviour, provide inclusive learning environments, support employability opportunities, and actively contribute to marketing and student recruitment activities.
- Quality, Compliance & Collaboration: Maintain accurate records, meet administrative and quality requirements, work with colleagues and awarding bodies, and uphold safeguarding, EDI, and health & safety standards.
About you:
- Qualifications & Professional Requirements: Degree in a relevant subject (or strong industry experience), GCSE English and Maths, DBS clearance, and a teaching qualification (or willingness to achieve).
- Teaching & Quality Experience: Experience teaching at Level 2/3, with knowledge of FE quality assurance systems and use of data and IT to monitor and improve performance.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence, support students, and maintain a professional and welcoming environment.
- Performance & Organisational Skills: Strong ability to meet deadlines, manage workloads, maintain accuracy, handle sensitive data, and deliver consistently high performance under pressure.
- Professionalism & Compliance: Commitment to safeguarding, equality and diversity, and health & safety, with flexibility to travel, adapt working hours, and uphold professional standards and boundaries.
