Salary/Benefits: Salary is £28,000 per annum DOE and Qualifications, 27 days annual leave plus Bank holidays, People’s Pension, Retail and Leisure Discounts, excellent professional and personal development opportunities, accessing college courses.
Hours/Weeks: 37 hours per week - 52 weeks per year

About the role
- Apprenticeship Matching & Candidate Support: Manage apprenticeship vacancies and applications, act as the main point of contact for potential apprentices, provide careers guidance and support students through application, interview and onboarding stages.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with employers, hiring managers, curriculum teams, school careers leads and community partners to promote apprenticeship pathways and ensure high-quality candidate-employer matching.
- Promotion, Outreach & Events Delivery: Represent the College at careers fairs, school events, open days and promotional activities, developing engaging materials and presentations to raise awareness of apprenticeship opportunities.
- Recruitment Operations, Tracking & Quality: Screen and assess candidates, maintain accurate CRM records, monitor progress against targets, report on outcomes, improve processes and deliver a consistently high-quality recruitment experience.
- College Responsibilities, Compliance & Continuous Improvement: Work flexibly across campuses, contribute to meetings and quality processes (e.g., SAR, planning), uphold safeguarding, EDI, health & safety and participate in ongoing training and development.
About you
- Qualifications & Professional Development: Level 3 qualification (or willingness to achieve) in IAG, customer service, business support or recruitment, plus Level 2 English and Maths and evidence of continued CPD.
- Customer Service & Advisory Experience: Strong background in delivering advice and guidance, working in customer-focused settings and consistently exceeding expectations with excellent local area knowledge.
- Organisation, Target Delivery & IT Skills: Proven ability to plan and manage workload, meet targets and deadlines, maintain effective systems, and use Microsoft Office and IT platforms confidently.
- Communication, Networking & Relationship Building: Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, build networks and maintain appropriate professional boundaries.
- Professionalism, Flexibility & Travel Requirements: Self-motivated, adaptable, enthusiastic and able to work independently or within a team, with willingness to travel across sites and a full UK driving licence with access to a car.
