Location: Tresham College - Kettering, Corby and Wellingborough Campuses

Salary/Benefits: Salary between £33,048 and £38,169 per annum DOE and Qualifications. 45 days annual leave plus Bank holidays, Teacher's pension, Retail and Leisure Discounts, excellent professional and personal development opportunities, access to college courses.

Hours/Weeks: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Contract Type: Permanent - Full Time

About the role

  • Teaching & Assessment: Prepare, deliver, and assess computing courses from Level 1 to Level 5, ensuring high-quality and inclusive learning experiences.
  • Student Support & Progress: Guide learners to achieve success, monitor performance, provide tutorials, and maintain accurate records.
  • Curriculum Development & Innovation: Contribute to schemes of work, create engaging materials, and support new course development aligned with industry trends.
  • Quality Assurance & Engagement: Implement quality processes, participate in marketing activities, and liaise with awarding bodies to maintain standards.
  • Compliance & College Responsibilities: Uphold safeguarding, EDI, and health & safety requirements; support exams, open days, and College-wide initiatives.

About you

  • Essential Qualifications: Degree in computing or relevant industry experience; GCSE English and Maths; valid DBS; current visa status.
  • Teaching & Quality Experience: Proven experience teaching Level 2-4; knowledge of FE quality assurance systems; ability to use IT/data for course improvement.
  • Core Skills & Competence: Strong communication, organisational, and problem‐solving skills; ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality learning experiences.
  • Professional Attributes: Ability to influence, lead, and work under pressure; maintain confidentiality; promote College values; uphold safeguarding and EDI standards.
  • Flexibility & Mobility: Willingness to adapt hours, travel across campuses, and maintain health & safety awareness, including risk assessment capability.
