Salary and Hours: £12.71 per hour. Hours: 39 hours per week. Contract: Sessional from 17th August 2026 to 18th September 2026, hourly paid.
About the role:
- Enrolment & Data Processing: Accurately complete student enrolments, input and update records, and generate reports using the college database, ensuring timely and precise data handling.
- Student Records & ID Management: Maintain and amend student data, produce ID cards, and ensure all enrolment documentation and records are correctly processed and up to date.
- Event Support & Customer Interaction: Assist with enrolment event setup and provide face-to-face support to students at enrolment hubs, delivering a helpful and professional service.
- Team & Administrative Support: Work collaboratively with the Registry Team to manage enrolment administration and support wider operational tasks as required.
- Safeguarding & Compliance: Promote and uphold safeguarding practices, ensuring the welfare of young people is prioritised and all duties align with college policies and procedures.
About you:
- Qualifications & Core Requirements: Holds a minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths (grade 4 or above).
- Administration & IT Skills: Confident in using Microsoft Office and computer systems, with strong organisational abilities to manage tasks accurately in a structured environment.
- Communication & Teamwork: Effective communicator across phone, face-to-face, and written channels, with the ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team.
- Work Ethic & Customer Focus: Able to perform well under pressure in a busy environment, meet tight deadlines, and provide a welcoming, supportive experience for students and customers.
- Safeguarding & Professional Conduct: Maintains professional boundaries, promotes safeguarding and the welfare of young people, demonstrates flexibility in working hours, and supports operational needs including manual handling tasks.
