About the role
- Exam Conduct & Compliance: Administer examinations in strict accordance with Awarding Body and Bedford College Group regulations, ensuring integrity and fairness.
- Security & Confidentiality: Maintain secure handling of exam papers, scripts, and candidate information before, during, and after exams.
- Candidate Management: Prepare exam rooms, check IDs, enforce rules, and provide access arrangements such as reader, scribe, or prompt support.
- Operational Accuracy: Complete attendance registers, incident reports, and return all materials promptly; remain up to date with regulatory changes.
- Statutory Responsibilities: Uphold safeguarding, equality, health & safety, and participate in required training and development.
About you
- Essential Qualifications: GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) or willingness to achieve Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy.
- Experience & Competence: Customer-focused experience, working with diverse groups, following procedures, and using Microsoft applications.
- Core Skills: Excellent customer service, strong organisational ability, effective communication, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Personal Attributes: Honest, reliable, confident, and adaptable with a flexible approach to work and hours.

What is an Associate
Associates work on a short term basis as assigned. They teach or provide support services and they work with and are supported by core staff. As an Associate you will be issued with an Associate agreement, under this Agreement period you will be eligible to work on assignments offered to you. Typically an agreement runs from January to December and may be renewed thereafter.
