Overview

Bedford Borough Council is seeking to recruit an experienced Payroll & HR Transactions individual to join their Transactions team on a permanent basis.

This role will provide an efficient and effective HR and Payroll administrative service to the Council Schools and external clients for the employee lifecycle from contracts all the way through to leavers.

Responsibilities

  • Process high volume payroll efficiently and accurately.
  • Prepare and manage HR documentation requirements throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Work within a team and engage with internal and external customers via telephone and email.
  • Maintain consistently high levels of accuracy and customer service.

Qualifications

  • Experience of high volume payroll processing.
  • Good knowledge of HR documentation requirements and preparation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Strong customer service skills with proven phone and email communication ability.
  • Consistently high levels of accuracy.
