An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Children’s Services Finance Team for a Financial Analyst on a one year fixed contract. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic finance professional to join our team. Full or part time hours will be considered for the right candidate, based on preference.
Responsibilities
- Support the grant return process.
- Assist the management accountant with a variety of ad‑hoc finance tasks, year end processes, and monthly financial monitoring.
- Collaborate with financial and non‑financial stakeholders to resolve queries and provide support in delivering key finance functions for Children’s Services.
Qualifications
- AAT Level 4 qualified or have an equivalent level accounting qualification or are working towards it.
- Previous experience in a similar finance role within local government is desirable, but not essential.
- Able to work at pace, manage multiple priorities effectively, and demonstrate attention to detail in all aspects of your work.
