Job Advert
You will lead a team delivering and supporting the Council’s core infrastructure application platforms, with a focus on cloud services and modern workplace technologies. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will provide technical leadership across Azure, Exchange and Microsoft 365, drive automation and scripting to improve efficiency and reliability, and oversee the lifecycle, security and performance of key services.
You will also deliver technical projects including cloud adoption and service improvements, while ensuring high-quality third-line support and consistent service availability.
We are looking for an experienced technical professional with strong leadership capability and a passion for modern IT services, with proven experience in Azure, Exchange Online, Microsoft 365 and Active Directory, alongside strong automation and scripting skills. You will be confident leading or mentoring technical teams, with a proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
