Have you ever considered working in pensions administration? Bedfordshire Pension Fund looks after the pensions of local government employees across the county of Bedfordshire. We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team where excellent customer service is our priority. We’re looking for intelligent, hardworking, and organised applicants whose background and knowledge can bring a fresh perspective.
You’ll get a chance to manage your own varied workload with a mix of home and office-based working. You will need to be able to process large volumes of data accurately and efficiently. This could be anything from the simple input of data to calculating refunds to reconciling data received. You’ll also be expected to answer queries both in writing and on the phone.
Ideally, you would be familiar with pensions or payroll systems and have some knowledge of the Local Government Pension Scheme or other pension schemes.
