Make a real difference every day by helping vulnerable children and adults travel safely and comfortably. We’re looking for a dedicated and responsible Driver to join our caring transport team.

Responsibilities

  • Safely drive vulnerable adults and children to and from home, Care Centres, or Special Schools.
  • Work closely with a Passenger Assistant and support them with boarding, seating, and securing passengers when required.
  • Carry out routine vehicle safety checks and ensure all journeys follow safety and safeguarding procedures.
  • Provide a professional, patient and reassuring presence throughout each journey.
  • Assist in emergencies and communicate effectively with care staff, transport coordinators, and families.

  • A safe, reliable, and responsible driver with good communication skills.
  • A caring and respectful attitude when working with vulnerable individuals.
  • Flexible and able to work as part of a supportive team.
  • Comfortable driving in varied weather conditions and completing basic physical tasks.
  • Willingness to undertake training (fully provided).
  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

Additional Requirements

  • A DBS check is required.
  • Very good English-speaking skills.
  • Must hold a valid driving licence suitable for the vehicles operated.
