Southway Residential Home are currently seeking a Care Assistant to join their team on a part‑time basis. As a member of the Care Team you will provide care to the highest standard in accordance with the needs of the resident as assessed and planned. You will support the physical and emotional needs of residents to enable them to maintain maximum independence in a safe environment.

This role requires working 21 hours per week – three 7‑hour shifts, including mornings, afternoons and every other weekend.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Successful applicants will be required to declare any spent and unspent convictions, adult cautions (simple or conditional) that are not “protected” as defined by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013 and 2020).
