Your Mission
As a Warehouse Operator, you will be responsible for assisting with the daily warehouse and global dispatch activities in a busy and hands‑on Operations Department. You will be working in a small team and helping to complete annual stock takes.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Processing, picking, packing, final invoicing and arranging delivery of customer orders
- Liaising with Warehouse Coordinator/Sales/Production/Couriers/QARA/Marketing to troubleshoot and resolve issues including dispatches, customs queries, labelling and regulatory issues ensuring cost and delivery efficiency
- Liaising with Warehouse Coordinator/Sales/Production/Senior Stock Controller to ensure orders are dispatched on time
- Maintaining concise warehouse and dispatch records
- Completing basic quality checks on incoming goods and ensuring correct storage conditions are met
- Booking in incoming goods in a timely manner and passing on to final goods in quality inspection
- Ensuring accurate stock management through LV software and the creation of barcodes as necessary
- Assisting with annual full stock takes
- Helping with the delivery and collection of exhibition equipment and goods
- Taking part in health & safety tasks in the warehouse and dispatch environments
- Assist with training new staff
- Assist production with QC of products and stock
- Processing dangerous goods, including creation of certificates, placarding boxes, and coordinating shipping with couriers
Qualifications
Although this area of work is open to all with relevant experience, candidates with experience or qualifications in the following would be advantageous:
- Warehouse experience
- Forklift license
- Customs clearance experience
- Dangerous goods training or experience
- Medical device manufacturer knowledge
