Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a Social Media Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies, creating and curating social media content, and optimizing platforms for increased engagement. Day-to-day tasks include managing online interactions, monitoring performance metrics, and ensuring alignment with the goals of Beder’s mission to raise awareness around mental health and suicide prevention. Collaboration with team members and stakeholders will be essential to drive impactful social media campaigns.
Qualifications
- Proactive and self sufficient
- Proficiency in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO)
- Strong Communication and Writing skills
- Experience in developing and executing Content Strategy
- Ability to analyze social media metrics and implement improvements based on insights
- Creative thinking and adaptability in creating engaging content
- Familiarity with mental health awareness and advocacy is a plus
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a remote environment
- Relevant education or certifications in marketing, communications, or a related field are advantageous
